Your Saint-Tropez time aboard

Let the Gulf set a slower rhythm
Wind and sea conditions influence the route, and the skipper may need the engine. If a beach lunch or a fixed return time cannot move, include it in the first conversation. Sailing time should not be promised independently of those constraints.
Make the cockpit work for the party
Look at the actual seating, shade and the steps down to the bathroom or cabins. A sailing yacht distributes space differently from a motor yacht of similar length. Tell us who is new to boats or may need help moving aboard, so the selection reflects the guests rather than only the destination.
More practical details
For several nights, ask for the bed configuration and guest accommodation. For a daytime outing, the cockpit may be the more important room. Clarify which spaces can be used during the charter.
A clear start and a flexible passage
Confirm the departure point in Saint-Tropez or the nearby port actually proposed. Ask whether delivery, crew, fuel and refreshments are included. The skipper-led request here is distinct from bareboat hire, and the offered arrangement should say who is responsible for what.
More practical details
Review the weather-change and cancellation terms before booking. The yacht’s photographs and specification should be supplied with the offer; the imagery on this guide is representative.
